Item:
Vintage 1965 Tutti Melody in Pink Doll + her original dress + 1 white replacement shoe (no mate) - Doll & dress as identified on page 139 of  "The Ultimate Barbie Doll Book" by Marcie Melillo.
Manufacturing markings on doll's back read: © 1965 / Mattel, Inc. / Japan. Doll measures approximately 6 inches & is made of vinyl. She's jointed at the neck. Her body is a soft vinyl Gumby style, so while not jointed like a traditional body, elbows and knees all soft-bend. All fingers / toes intact. Her face-up is factory. Her rooted blonde hair is in original factory style - 2 ponytails with bangs, with both pale pink hair bows intact.
Included is her original pink dress, Front decorative bow intact. Dress fastens in back with tiny buttons and fabric loops (all intact although loops are very stretched out). Dress is tagged - tag reads: Tutti ™ / © 1965 Mattel.
Also included is 1 white plastic replacement shoe (no mate) - not original to doll, not sure if by Mattel or another company.
No other Tutti items and no mfg box.

Condition:
DOLL in sound basic condition, but not perfect, since previously owned / played with, thus sold "as is".
Face-up looks good, but there's some little rubs on her cheek blush. No nose nips, neck splits, green or pin holes. Hair looks good, a little mussed + a little factory unevenness to bangs and rest of hair (typical of Mattel). Hair a little mussed with some flyaway strands  & bangs have separations. Hair bows faded & flattened, with some frays on ends.
Both elbows and both knees still soft bend.
Doll has overall soiling. Her body / limbs have a lot of soiling and engrained grime with some staining and little bits of sticky residue that may have come from her clothing.
She has factory seams and factory sprue (bits of excess plastic) here and there with quite a bit of sprue on both hands. There's little factory pieces of vinyl protruding from soles of feet (intrinsic) with factory indentations / little holes in those areas (also intrinsic).
No perfume or smoke scents - she does have a soapy Frebreze air freshener scent.
DRESS in sound condition, but sold "as is". It has wrinkles, creases, soiling, loose hanging threads + fraying on interior. There's also snags and some dark stains / spots / sticky residue in one area on back. Tag has staining and is a little sticky with wrinkles, loose hanging threads & frays. As previously mentioned, dress fabric fastener loops very stretched out. No perfume or smoke scents, there's a Frebreze air freshener scent.
SHOE sold "as is". It's not original (replacement) and no mate. Looks okay, with some soiling, factory seams or sprue. No perfume or smoke scents, there's a Frebreze air freshener scent.
