Description
Carbonit NFP Premium D filter cartridge, flow rate approx. 3-4 l / min.Activated carbon monoblock
Activated carbon is a material based on natural raw materials, which, thanks to its porous structure and the resulting extremely large internal surface, binds chemical compounds and molecules. Activated carbon is traditionally used in many processes in the chemical industry. Due to its high adsorptive properties, it is mainly used for cleaning exhaust air, drinking and waste water as well as in food technology, pharmacy and chemistry.
Reports from renowned institutes confirm the thorough, chemical-free removal of undesirable substances: heavy metals, drug residues, pesticides and microorganisms, lime and rust particles and many other substances. Dissolved minerals are retained in the water.
Original Carbonit
This coconut-based sintered activated carbon block filter focuses on the
chemical-physical extraction
unwanted ingredients in drinking water, for example due to the influences of the house installation. Compared to the combination filters of activated carbon block and membrane, there is twice the amount of activated carbon available for extraction.
Carbonit Monoblock®
- Baked block filter, manufactured in the sintering process, internationally patented, awarded several times and scientifically recognized.
Original only

" Carbonit Monoblock NFP Premium D with a filter fineness of 0.7 µm absolute. Flow rate: approx. 3-4 l / min. Flat seal (SOE) with O-ring. High protection against bacteria, heavy metals, pesticides, polar pesticides and drug residues. This block filter combines the well-known adsorptive forces of sintered activated carbon (e.g. pesticides) with mechanical filtration (e.g. bacteria).
Carbonit filter cartridges are
consistently without additives (e.g. silver)
manufactured and are subject to permanent, external monitoring by the LGA Bavaria, a company of the TÜV Süd group. By dispensing with additives, the manufacturer defines a purity requirement that exceeds the strict German food law.
Service life, maintenance, filter change
A service life of 6 months is recommended throughout Europe. In addition to the statements of din 1988, the epdwa guidelines, the HKI recommendations and the findings of various dindin EN 14898 and DVGW worksheet W 513 must be taken into account.
In principle, 10,000 liters of water can be filtered within the 6 months. However, it may need to be changed earlier if the water flow is noticeably reduced. An early change is not a defect in the filter used, but an indication of the increased occurrence of fine particles in the unfiltered water.
Expert reports prove that, when used properly, there is no evidence of germs and breakthroughs in the filter cartridge (chromatography effect).
Warning notices
For technical reasons, use is only permitted with cold water, protect from frost. Recommended filter change every 6 months.
Filter cartridges are wearing parts.
