A splendid Instruction book from B&S. Tight and firm in pale gray soft wraps, 11" x 8 1/2" x 26 clean pages of splendid Operating Instructions for these B&S engines, illustrated with several pages of parts drawings.
The B & S Model FP series engine was a prolifically produced Hit & Miss engine. Here are those engines.

These engines were overhead valve, suction carburetors. They were produced from 1922 to 1925.
Here is a solid clean and very well illustrated Operating Instructions book, Like New wraps and interiors - a modern reprint. No dogears,
